I am offering extra credit presentations for the remaining of the semester beginning November 8, 2011. The credit from this assignment can replace a missed writing assignment, a missed day of class, or if neither is applicable, will add points to your final exam grade.
For this assignment, an individual or group will give an informal presentation to the class that relates to the day's assigned readings. This can be an outline of key concepts that interest you in the reading, and/or can be a discussion of a relevant film, news, or other media clip that reflects, illustrates, challenges, or otherwise relates to the argument, themes, or concepts laid out in the assigned reading.
Below are the days in the semester that are available for extra credit presentations. If you or a group of you are interested in giving a 10-15 minute extra credit presentation on one of these days, please email me at least one day before the scheduled class.
